1995 Nationals Resolutions

This is a partial list. Anyone who has the semifinal resolution should contact the webmaster.

• Round 1: THBT society has an obligation to guarantee a basic quality of life to its members.
• Round 2: THBT our policy toward diversity should be guided by the metaphor of a salad bowl rather than a melting pot.
• Round 3: THBT representative democracy is obsolete.
• Round 4: THBT medicine has overemphasized prolonging life.
• Round 5: TH would revoke the right to private property.
• Round 6: THBT environmentalism should be the ideological basis for all public policy.
• Round 7: THBT on balance, organized religion has improved the human condition.
• Round 8: THBT punitive damage awards should be limited.
• Double-Octafinals: THBT providing for citizens’ safety is more important than providing civil liberties.
• Octafinals: TH favors a libertarian form of government.
• Quarterfinals: TH supports two years of mandatory national service for all able citizens.
