2006-2007 Resolutions
The NPDA does not officially approve of this list. This list is designed for historical interest as well as potential ideas for coaching.
A few abbreviations for the list of resolutions:

Purdue Boilermaker Tournament:
Submitted by Konrad Hack, Wheaton College and Kristine Clancy, Purdue University
- Round 1: The United Nations should do more to aid Africa.
- Round 2: The United States Congress should pass a voting rights act for current and former felons.
- Round 3: The U.S. response to 9/11 has harmed the United States more than the initial attacks.
- Round 4: Latin America’s move left will do more harm than good.
- Round 5: Prosecute or release Guantanamo Bay detainees.
- Round 6: Sanction Iran
- Octofinals: Israel should have no confidence in Olmert
- Quarterfinals: Marriage for some should be replaced with civil unions for all.

Claremont Round Robin:

- Round 2: An Hamas-led government is preferable to an Hamas-Fatah coalition.
- Round 3: In this case, violence is the answer.
- Round 4: In this case, name names.
- Round 5: TH supports US exceptionalism in one or more international agreements.
- Final: War memorials do more harm than good.
Claremont National Open:

- Round 2: TH supports the military coup in Thailand

Cardinal Classic Round Robin:

UC-Berkeley Tournament:

Reed Invitational:

- Round 2: The United States should agree to reduce farm subsidies to move forward with the WTO Doha agenda.

- Round 5: The USFG should enforce higher standards of energy efficiency on major industry
- Round 6: TH values economic aid over military aid to South America
- Octas: The US should work to assure indigenous culture’s practices and products are given intellectual property rights under the WTO.

- Round 4: The USFG should negotiate a new bilateral free trade agreement with one or more South American countries.
- Round 5: One of more UN Security Council member nations should impose sanctions on the US for violation of the UN Convention Against Torture.
- Round 6: The UN should assist one or more non-nuclear countries in the acquisition of civilian nuclear technologies.
- Elim 1: The USFG should establish a policy to significantly increase diplomatic relations with Venezuela.
- Elim 2: The UN should rescind article X section 1 of the nuclear non-proliferation treaty.
- Finals: The US Congress should override executive limitations to the Freedom of Information Act.

Willamette
